Daniel Chavez Moran

Daniel Chavez Moran  is a famous character who is a businessman and lives in Mexico, he set up Grupo Vidanta in 1974, a business dedicated to the progression of luxury hotels and resorts. The CNN named him one of the top 100 most critical businessmen in Mexico in 2010. , now retired from the advancement of hotels and resorts, after graduating from the University of Guadalajara with a degree in Civil Engineering he launched Grupo Vidanta in 1974. For the base of Foundation Vidanta (originally called Foundation Grupo Mayan), he retired in 2005 and concentrate on philanthropy. Mr. Chavez Moran has also created Foundation Delia Moran A.C., whose important purpose is to aid youngsters grow up in a balanced environment. Mr. Chavez Moran's efforts in the non-profit segment help enhance the name of the corporations he initially founded, while no longer active in Grupo Vidanta itself. To raise awareness of the gap in political, economic, and social progress in Latin America, and improve culture he founded in 2005 the non-profit corporation. The foundation was initially started as the Daniel Chavez Moran Foundation, then improved to Grupo Mayan Foundation later in 2005.
